ABOUT US

Bronte-36.jpg

Anahata Collective is a company that empowers artists to build mental strength through regular physical exercise, mindfulness practices, community and connection. Our combined creative and physical training has led us to believe that to nurture a creative practice within a typical, often unstructured creative lifestyle, one must build and maintain a foundation of mental strength, physical movement and connection. This in turn creates space for self-love and mindfulness in all areas of life.

We aim to create a supportive community for artists in every capacity

~ actors, musicians, writers, potters, directors, you name it ~

as well as yogis, fitness enthusiasts, and everyone in between!

We aim to empower individuals to build mental strength, a healthy lifestyle, positive thinking and foundational tools to lead deeply fulfilling lives, in whatever shape that takes.

I am a yoga teacher and actor passionate about mental health and human rights. I aim to support physical, mental and spiritual growth within my students, creating a safe and nurturing environment in which to move with breath, connect to the body and release the pressures of modern societal expectations that block our ability to receive and share love. I teach my classes with an open heart, kindness, joy and intention, creating a space where students feel safe to move through their own physical and mental journeys. I approach my teaching with the intention of healing; strengthening the body and mind; building self-awareness, self-love and self-empowerment so that we may be more in tune with ourselves as artists and our roles in the industry.

Yoga is clarity, space, challenge, and courage, and is teaching me how to be a better human, how to love myself and allow others to love me. I support my student’s individual needs, while creating a sense of community and togetherness within the class. I teach with empathy, compassion and generosity. I aim to connect with students through laughter and detailed assists, opening conversations between artists and the experiences we share.

Come flow with me!

I’m a personal trainer, group fitness and bootcamp instructor, actor, writer, and cold shower enthusiast.

When I train, I do so with the intention of challenging and strengthening bodies and minds, and building a positivity-fuelled, supportive and motivational community. I train with many whole body, functional movements and exercises, focusing on technique to build true strength while increasing mobility. I train with a focus on core strength and stability, to make the body strong from the inside, out. I train with the intention of making people work together, helping people encourage and motivate each other. I aim to help make clear to you what you can do, what you are capable of, and help you build the strength and self-belief needed to continue being capable of more. I will train you hard; finding and pushing the boundaries of our physical and mental strength is the surest way to surprise ourselves with what we are capable of.

I truly believe that a regular habit of vigorous exercise can provide the structure often elusive in creative lifestyles. This structure, coupled with the movement practice itself, breeds presence and positivity. It is my goal to be able to help provide you with your own habitual movement practice, so that it might assist in fulfilling your own beautiful, creative life.
